Information You Submit
Search Terms
When you enter a name, county, or similar query into a search tool, that query is sent to the outside provider that operates the tool. Webster County Inmate Population does not store those search terms in its own records.
Messages
If you email us or send a message, we use the information in that message to review and respond. We do not share contact messages outside our organization unless a valid legal requirement applies, including a lawful order under Georgia or federal law.

How We Use Information
- To keep the site available, responsive, and organized.
- To send search requests to the correct partner service.
- To understand which Webster County jail, court, and facility pages visitors use most.
- To identify errors, broken links, and technical problems.
- To display advertising that may be related to visitor interests.
Outside Websites
This site links to sheriff pages, Georgia correctional resources, court portals, VINELink Georgia, federal locators, open-records pages, and third-party search services. Once you leave this site, the privacy policy of the outside site controls how your information is handled.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to recognize activity across websites for interest-based advertising. That tracking occurs through their platforms, not through a Webster County government office.

We do not sell personal information. Information may be received by the following parties when needed for site operation or legal compliance.
- Search partners that process submitted lookup queries.
- Analytics providers that measure site performance and traffic.
- Advertising networks that serve or measure ads.
- Law enforcement, courts, or government bodies when required by subpoena, court order, Georgia Open Records Act obligations that apply to a recipient, or another valid legal process.
Security
We use reasonable security practices for a public website, but no internet-connected service can be made completely secure. We cannot guarantee that data transmitted online will be breach-proof or error-free.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a minor has submitted information, contact us so the material can be reviewed for deletion.
Your Data Choices
- Ask for a copy of personal information we maintain about you.
